  Our private tours just for kids from ages 6-12 are uniquely tailored for that age group in a variety of ways. According to their age, we are sensitive to the carefully chosen subject matter. Our aim is to concentrate on the elements of art such as color, line, composition, perspective, forms of sculpture and the historical, narrative of the artwork. This approach ensures that the child receives knowledge that can be applied at any art museum. It is an introduction to the art world that emphasizes how to look at and what to look for when viewing any work of art. By utilizing visual and tactile aids and games, we involve the child in the techniques, process and artists' motivations. At the same time, we ensure the adult chaperones (over 18) are entertained as well. After the tour, you'll be amazed by the shared discoveries you have experienced together.   American Dance Training Camp aka ADTC is the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp for girls 8-17 in Lake Tahoe - Session 1: June 16 - 22, 2024 Session 2: June 23 - 29, 2024

     Whether you're brand new to dance or a seasoned competitor, we want you to have fun and grow as a dancer and a person. We've successfully empowered thousands of girls around the world for 17 years with ADTC dance camps. We hope you'll join us for dance, adventure, new friends & fun this summer. At ADTC in CA, you'll take 4 - 5 dance classes per-day, Mon through Fri. Classes are taught by our professional choreographers. The core dance disciplines you'll take are contemporary, hip hop and jazz (styles vary and may include Bwy or lyrical). Elective dance classes include ballet, tap & world dance. At ADTC "ULTIMATE Sierra Mountains" in California, campers stay in double-occupancy dorms with shared bathrooms. Hallway blocks are organized by age and ADTC's staff is housed in single rooms on each floor, providing campers with 24-hour supervision & support.      For over 40 years, Theatre West has been entertaining children ages 3-9 and their families with fairy tales in the Storybook Theatre style. Parents and grandparents are returning with their children and grandchildren! Acclaimed production, THE UGLY DUCKLING Opens October 12th. Storybook Theatre's fun-filled version of the famous story has lots of singing, dancing, and audience participation...and even a comical ballet...as the Ugly Duckling learns valuable lessons from the audience, Mama Duck and her companion dog, as she transforms into a beautiful swan right before your eyes.
